Hospitality & Catering
We offer a Hospitality and Catering Study Programme providing you with transferable skills needed to make you ’employable’ within the hospitality and catering industry.
This programme is delivered in our purpose-built cookery studio at our Mattishall site.

TQUK Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery
This Study Programme allows you to master the art of cooking and baking, you will learn different methods and techniques in preparation for the hospitality and catering industry. This programme involves preparing/cooking/finishing a variety of different hot and cold dishes, making and decorating cakes, knife skills and food safety.
You will be working with other students in our high-tech, modern cookery studio at our Mattishall site. The studio has individual workstations and you will be assigned your own which is fully-equipped. Your tutor will also deliver classroom-based teaching session as well as setting you written work via an online portfolio.
The course will also offer:
- Food Hygiene/Food Safety/Health & Safety
- Level 1 Functional Skills English (if required)
- Level 1 Functional Skills Maths (if required)
You must be between the ages of 16-18. Math’s and English GCSE 3 and above (or equivalent)
There are opportunities to continue your studies with an Apprenticeship or it could lead to employment.
If you are 16-18 there are no course fees payable, however you may have some costs associated with uniform, equipment etc.
