Mattishall Training Provider Celebrates Ofsted Success

Poultec Training Limited, based in Mattishall are celebrating success following the release of their Ofsted inspection report confirming them as a good training
provider.  Inspectors, who visited the company for a week in July, found strong management, good teaching and learners that do well in achieving their awards.

Neale McArdle, Poultec’s Training Director voiced the feeling in the company – “We are all delighted with the inspection report.  The inspectors commented on the good support we give learners and employers and also, highlighted the fact that employers report rapid gains in the employability skills of their staff.  This is a real credit to the professionalism of our team and we are proud of their achievement”.

In addition, the inspection found that learners on Poultec’s programmes fully participate in, and enjoy, their learning and that communication with learners is good.

Learners were able to provide inspection input and one of the things that they liked about Poultec’s provision was “gaining good skills that help them in the
workplace and to integrate into society”.  Employers highlighted “the professional, quick and effective approach and regular communications as well as the credible and experienced staff”

Although the inspection focussed on the 700 learners Poultec currently have on funded programmes, Poultec delivers a variety of Apprenticeships, NVQs and short courses to around 3000 learners each year.
