Poultec’s range of business study programmes have been developed to provide a blend of both theory and practical hands-on training, to prepare learners for a career of working with within a business administration environment.
On successful completion of an Business study programme, learners will be ready to commence onto an Apprenticeship.
NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business
Description
This course is for learners who would like to work in the business administration environment but who have little or no experience. This course will develops knowledge and skills and provide an understanding of what is involved with working within business:
- Maintain Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Problem solving skills
- Presentation skills
- communication skills
- Interview skills
- Business practices and policies
- Business cultures and responsibilities
- Innovation and change in business
The course will also include the following core skills:
- Employability skills, CV writing and Interview Technique
- Level 1 Functional Skills English
- Level 1 Functional Skills Maths
Entry Requirements
You must be between the ages of 16-18. There are no formal academic entry requirements; however an initial selection interview is mandatory.
Progression Opportunities
On successful completion of this course, learners have the opportunity to progress onto an Apprenticeship.
Costs
If you are 16 – 18 there are no course fees payable, however you may have some costs associated with uniform, equipment etc.
