Jakub Kozik Excels in Poultry Technician Apprenticeship with Distinction

Jakub Kozik of Annyalla Chicks has successfully completed all components of his End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Level 3 Poultry Technician Apprenticeship and achieve a distinction.

Jakub’s journey began in 2017 when he joined the farm as a stockman. With dedication and hard work, he quickly advanced to the position of assistant manager. In 2020, the farm transitioned to new ownership under Annyalla Chicks, marking the beginning of Jakub’s Apprenticeship journey. He was enrolled in the Level 3 Poultry Technician Apprenticeship programme to enhance his skills and deepen his knowledge of the poultry industry.

Reflecting on his experience, Jakub shares, “At first, I thought there was a lot of written work and I wouldn’t be able to handle it. But over time, I completed more tasks and couldn’t wait for more work to be set to test my poultry knowledge.”

Throughout his Apprenticeship, Jakub demonstrated exceptional commitment and passion for his work. The rigorous training not only equipped him with advanced poultry management skills but also significantly boosted his confidence in managing both birds and staff members. His determination paid off when, after two years, he was promoted to farm manager.

“Completing my Apprenticeship with Poultec Training boosted my confidence and taught me so much about not only being able to manage birds but also staff members onsite. I was over the moon when I received a distinction grade,” Jakub says. “This apprenticeship was so worth it. I am very glad that I started it and completed it with the best result I could get. I am so happy!”

Jakub’s success is a due to his hard work and the comprehensive training provided by Annyalla Chicks and his Poultec Training tutor. His journey serves as an inspiring example for aspiring individuals within the poultry industry and highlights the value of Apprenticeships in gaining more industry experience and professional growth.

Congratulations, Jakub Kozik, on your outstanding achievement! We hope you continue to succeed within the poultry industry.
