Poultec Training Engineers Youngsters with 2nd Round of Project!

Following on from the success of the first series of taster sessions back in June 2016, Poultec Training are pleased to announce a second batch of their Engineering project “Go-Moto”, in partnership with The Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk and The Henderson Trust.

The “Go-Moto” project is aimed at young people (aged 14-18) interested in the maintenance of bikes and engineering and is delivered at Poultec’s state-of-the-art Engineering Centre at The Henderson Business Centre in Norwich. The second course will take place every Wednesday evening from 18th January until 29th March 2017, led by Mark Woods, Engineering Tutor/Assessor from Poultec.

Youngsters attending the sessions will learn how engines work, how to fix bikes, which tool is the best for the job, how to progress onto an apprenticeship, as well as attending an evening at King’s Lynn speedway.

Neale McArdle, Training Director at Poultec commented, “I’m really pleased that we are able to run another ‘Go Moto’ project. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young people in Earlham and a great project to be involved in. We are very pleased to be working in partnership with The Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk and The Henderson Trust again and we hope this continues in the future.”
