Cranberry Learners Celebrate Success

At two presentations that took part recently 29 Cranberry Foods Staff and contract growers celebrated completing their Work-based Diplomas in Agriculture with training provider Poultec Training.  The presentations held in Thirsk and Driffield areas recognised the achievement of the farm and hatchery staff which included Terry Allinson who has worked within the Turkey industry for 44 years.  During the presentation Clay Burrows (Agricultural Director) at Cranberry Foods, thanked all the staff for their hard work and commitment to the training programme and explained how the Award acted as a demonstration of their high levels of skill and knowledge in the workplace.  Cranberry Foods in partnership with Poultec have now had around 80 staff successfully achieve the qualification across the country and aim to have all other agricultural staff on the programme over the next 12 months.
