Poultec offers English training to improve your skills and confidence or to simply update your existing qualification.

City & Guilds 3792 National Certificate in Adult Literacy: The National Test for Adult Literacy meets the national standards for adult Literacy in the UK and gives a clear understanding of the level of maths skills the learner has achieved.

The course, which can be delivered in the workplace, is focused to the individual’s needs and offers a chance to develop their wider skills and achieve a national qualification. Courses can range in duration according to the learner’s needs, from a quick ‘refresher’ course to a longer plan of study.

When ready, the learner sits a multiple choice test in Literacy with City & Guilds. What can be achieved is a full qualification in its own right. A Level 1 certificate is the equivalent to a GCSE grades D – G, a Level 2 is the equivalent to a GCSE grades C – A*.

Poultec also offers Levels 1 & 2 Functional Skills English (City & Guilds 3748).
