Ladder Safety
Ladder Safety: Working at height is generally considered to be a risky occupation. The HSE reports that fall from height is solely responsible for the greatest number of fatalities in any given year and is one of the top three causes of major injuries.
This 1⁄2 day course is designed to give employees the knowledge of correct ladder use, to raise awareness and to take a step towards preventing these accidents from occurring.
Areas covered include:
- Identifying the right ladder
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- The laws relating to ladder safety
- The do’s and don’ts when using a ladder
