Who is it for?
A practising team leader or supervisor:

About the Course
The Introductory
Certificate in Team Leading offers an introduction to the
knowledge and skills needed by team leaders to deal with
some of the key issues which the team leader has to manage.
It also has advantages for employees who may move into a
team leader position in the future.
The programme has two primary objectives:
- To assist participants
in gaining the basic knowledge required by a team leader
- To develop basic team leading
skills
- Programme Structure
- The Introductory Award
requires a minimum of over seven weeks of tutor led study.
To achieve the Award participants must meet the following
requirements:
Attend a short induction
Attend and successfully complete
the segment ''The Role of the Team Leader'' plus five further
segments (min of 1 from each module)
Achieve a pass mark in a short
test (1 hour)

About the Course
The Introductory Certificate in First Line Management
offers an introduction to the knowledge and skills needed
by managers to deal with some of the key issues within the
working environment. It is also useful for employees who
may move into a managerial position in the future.
The programme has
two primary objectives:
- To assist participants
in gaining the basic knowledge required by a manager
- To develop basic management
skills
Programme Structure
The Introductory Award requires a minimum of 34 hours of
tutor led study. To achieve the Award participants must
meet the following requirements:

- Complete a work based assignment
