ESOL and Skills For Life
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is an essential skill for life, enabling people to demonstrate their skills which would normally be hidden behind a lack of competence in the English language.
ESOL also gives the ability and confidence to train for further skills. Poultec offers work-based ESOL courses that cover English for work or daily life and which prepare you for an accredited certificate.Skills for Life give the ability to read, write and speak in English and to use mathematics at a level necessary to function and progress at work and in society in general.
If you would like to improve your confidence and be better at everyday tasks, Poultec can offer training in Literacy & Numeracy and guide you through a National Certificate. You can study for accredited exams from Entry Level to the National Tests in Levels 1 & 2, which work at the same level as GCSEs.
