Poultec Training Limited is a private training provider who, over the last 10 years have built a reputation for running successful and effective training programmes both at our South Green Park base and also for employers at their premises throughout the region and beyond. South Green Park is an events and conference facility in a peaceful, rural location but with modern, state of the art facilities. South Green Cafe Bar is part of the centre and operates as a fully functioning restaurant in it’s own right.

Current Vacancies

Business Administration/Management Tutor/Assessor
An essential role, combining significant sector knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills. You must have significant managerial or training experience in the business administration sector and be capable of planning and delivering learning activities with new entrants to the industry as well as existing staff with skills gaps or development needs. We will expect the successful applicant to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering Business Administration and Management Qualifications. Good communication and the ability to keep accurate written records are essential as is a reasonable level of IT as we use a fully embedded eportfolio system. We have Apprentices throughout the region so you should be prepared to travel.

This position requires applicants to be able to drive as there is a requirement to visit learners in the workplace in areas where the use of public transport would not be viable.

This position is likely to involve working with young and vulnerable people and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If selected for interview, applicants will be given the opportunity to provide information on any previous convictions including those, which, in other circumstances, would be thought of as spent.  Any information will be kept confidential, will only be disclosed to relevant and sufficiently senior parties and may not necessarily prevent a person undertaking the role. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which must be renewed every five years.

Engineering Tutor/Assessor
With a strong engineering background you will be well placed to use your knowledge to develop new entrants to the sector as well as upskilling existing engineers.

You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering and assessing Engineering Qualifications as well as a thorough knowledge of the principles of engineering and the ability to use this to develop and inspire others.

Part of your time will be spent delivering level 1 and 2 engineering courses in our Engineering Centre in Ivy Way, Norwich; ensuring that you combine lively and enthusiastic delivery with the excellent resources to inspire your students.

The rest of your time will be spent operating in a wide range of establishments developing and training their engineering staff. We have Apprentices throughout the region so you should be prepared to travel.

Hospitality and Catering Tutor/Assessor
Experience of training in a catering environment would be useful, but it is not essential as we are able to provide the training and development which will give you the skills you need.  What is essential, however, is a thorough knowledge of the hospitality and catering sector and the communication skills to use this knowledge to develop others.

Part of your time will be spent at South Green Park delivering courses to hospitality students; ensuring that you combine lively and enthusiastic delivery with our excellent catering training facilities to inspire your students.

The rest of your time will be spent operating in a wide range of establishments developing and training their catering and hospitality teams. We have Apprentices throughout the region so you should be prepared to travel.

Business Administration Apprentice
The successful applicant will be required to work in our reception area as a key member of our staff on a variety of administrative and events-based tasks.

We need a person who is motivated, can demonstrate initiative and attention to detail and who will play a key role in our admin/reception team.

Duties will include: Telephone answering, meeting and greeting customers, diary management for staff, general office administration, stationary ordering and stock control, IT equipment support, assisting with conference room bookings and setting up conference equipment such as laptops and projectors.
