Learners Guide

Traditionally on leaving fulltime education you had two options – continue with education or enter employment, to begin earning.  Becoming an apprentice you can now do both!

As an apprentice you are employed by a business, earning a wage.  This wage is at least £2.50/hour, however in some case this is enhanced by the employer.  You are also gaining valueable skills in the work place and working towards nationally recognised qualifications.

Training is delivered in the workplace by our specialised industry based tutors, however from time-to-time you may be invited to workshops away from your normal place of work, at our training centre at South Green Park.  To find details of what is included in the apprenticeship, select the area of work that you are interested in, from the ‘Training Courses’ menu.
