| WHAT
IS AN NVQ? |
NVQ
stands for National Vocational Qualification.
The main purpose of this award is to provide people with
a nationally recognised qualification relevant to their
current employment which they can train for and gain in
the workplace.
A qualification like this is valued because it shows a person
can do the job to the standard the industry requires and
it also gives the customer more confidence in the product
or service they are buying.
|
| Who
can train for an NVQ?
|
| Anyone
who is in a job/work placement which enables them to be
assessed on-site for competence in the various duties and
tasks defined in their personal training programme.

along with the
mandatory units to gain your award. Your training programme
will be agreed with your allocated assessor upon commencement
of the scheme.
|
| How
does the assessment take place? |
