Level 1
CLAiT 2006 is the new qualification from
OCR (Oxford, Cambridge & RSA). This is a nationally
recognised qualification and over 2 million people in the
UK now hold CLAiT certificates, making CLAiT the benchmark
qualification in IT.

New CLAiT Level
1 for Beginners
Each unit provides complete coverage of
the National Occupational Standards for Using IT (iTQ) and
offers clear progression routes. New CLAiT also provides
a basis for progression to the NVQs which form part of the
iTQ suite (NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 for IT Users).
Each unit is individually assessed. To achieve
the Certificate a candidate is required to achieve Unit
1 (File Management and e-Document Production) plus 2 optional
units. To achieve a Diploma a candidate is required to achieve
Unit 1 plus 4 optional units.
Some previous experience of using a computer
would prove beneficial.
