Sun Shines for College Intake

In a welcome respite from recent weather, the sun shone for the latest intake at Dereham 6th Form College as they enjoyed their induction. The event, on the 1st and 2nd September saw almost 240 students visiting Poultec Training Limited who organised and ran the programme at their South Green Park base.
The aim of the day was to help the students to get to know each other; providing them with a range of activities that were fun and would help them prepare for their time at the College.
Included in the day were confidence building tasks as well as activities designed to build team work . The highlight of the activities was the opportunity for students to tackle a slalom course on Poultec’s new fleet of Segway electric all-terrain vehicles.
In summing up the day, Neale McArdle, Poultec’s Training Director praised the students for their spirit and enthusiasm; wishing them the very best for their two years at the college.
